to serve or not to serve, that is the question!

EVERY MINISTRY IN THE BODY OF MESSIAH IS IMPORTANT! JUST LOOK AT THESE VERSES:

1Co 12:12 Even as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the one body, being many, are one body, so also is Messiah.
1Co 12:13 For also we all were baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jews or Arameans, whether slaves or free, even all were given to drink into one Spirit.
1Co 12:14 For also the body is not one member, but many.
1Co 12:15 If the foot says, Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body, on account of this, is it not of the body?
1Co 12:16 And if the ear says, Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body, on account of this, is it not of the body?
1Co 12:17 If all the body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If all hearing, where would the smelling be?
1Co 12:18 But now YAHWEH set the members, each one of them, in the body, even as it has pleased Him.
1Co 12:19 But if all was one member, where would the body be?
1Co 12:20 But now, indeed, many are the members, but one body.
1Co 12:21 And the eye is not able to say to the hand, I have no need of you; or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
1Co 12:22 But much rather the members of the body seeming to be weaker are necessary.
1Co 12:23 And those of the body we think to be less honorable, to these we put more abundant honor around them. And our uncomely members we dress with greater care.
1Co 12:24 But our comely parts have no need for attention. But YAHWEH tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to the member having need,
1Co 12:25 that there not be division in the body, but that the members might have the same care for one another.
1Co 12:26 And if one member is in pain, all the members suffer with it. If one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

1. WE ARE CREATED TO SERVE IN MINISTRY:

Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved, through faith, and this is not of yourselves; it is the gift of YAHWEH;
Eph 2:9 not of works, that not anyone should boast;
Eph 2:10 for we are His workmanship, created in Messiah YEshua unto good works, which YAHWEH before prepared that we should walk in them.

2. WE ARE SAVED TO SERVE IN MINISTRY:

2Ti 1:9 the One having saved us and having called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace given to us in Messiah Yahshua before the world began...

3. WE ARE CALLED TO SERVE IN MINISTRY:

1Pe 2:9 But you are an elect race, a royal priesthood; a holy people, and a people for possession; that you should proclaim the praises of him who called you out of darkness to His precious light: (Ex. 19:5, 6)
1Pe 2:10 you who then were "Not a people, but now are the people of YAHWEH; who had not obtained mercy, but who now have mercies poured out upon you." (Hos. 1:6, 9; 2:1, 23)

4. WE ARE GIFTED TO SERVE IN THE MINISTRY:

1Pe 4:10 so let each one of you according to the gift he received from Elohim, minister the same to your fellowman as good stewards of the manifold grace of YAHWEH.
1Pe 4:11 If any man preach, let him preach the word of YAHWEH; if anyone ministers, let him do so according to the ability that YAHWEH has given him that in all things that you may do, YAHWEH may be glorified through Yahshua Messiah; to whom belongs glory and honor forever and ever. Amen.

5. WE ARE AUTHORIZED TO SERVE IN THE MINISTRY:

Mat 28:18 And coming up Yeshua talked with them, saying, All authority in Heaven and on earth was given to Me.
Mat 28:19 Then having gone, disciple all nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son,
Mat 28:20 and the Holy Spirit teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the completion of the age. Amen.

6. WE ARE COMMANDED TO SERVE IN THE MINISTRY:

Mat 20:26 But it will not be so among you. But whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.
Mat 20:27 And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your servant;
Mat 20:28 Even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

7. WE ARE TO BE PREPARED TO SERVE IN THE MINISTRY:

Eph 4:11 And indeed He has assigned some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some shepherds and teachers;
Eph 4:12 for the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the building up of the body of Messiah,
Eph 4:13 until we all may come to the unity of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a full-grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah,
Eph 4:14 so that we may no longer be children, being blown and carried about by every wind of false doctrine of men, who through their craftiness are very skillful in deceiving the people;

8. WE ARE NEEDED TO SERVE IN THE MINISTRY:

1Co 12:26 And if one member is in pain, all the members suffer with it. If one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
1Co 12:27 And you are the body of Messiah, and members in your respective places.

9. WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO SERVE IN THE MINISTRY AND WILL BE REWARDED AS SUCH:

Col 3:22 Servants, obey the Masters according to flesh in all respects, not with eye-service as hypocrites, but with a sincere heart, giving reverence to YAHWEH.
Col 3:23 And whatever you may do, do it from your whole soul as to our Master and not as to men,
Col 3:24 knowing that from the Master you shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Sovereign Messiah.

10. WE ARE ANOINTED TO SERVE IN THE MINISTRY:

Isa 61:1 The Spirit of Adonai YAHWEH is on Me, because YAHWEH has anointed Me to preach the good news to the meek. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, and complete opening to the bound ones;
Isa 61:2 to proclaim the acceptable year of YAHWEH (The Jubilee), and the day of vengeance of our Elohim (The day of Yahweh); to comfort all who mourn;
Isa 61:3 to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity, so that one calls them trees of righteousness, the planting of YAHWEH, in order to beautify Himself.
Isa 61:4 And they shall build old ruins; they shall raise up former desolations; and they shall restore the waste cities, ruins of generations and generations.

AMEIN VAYA AMEIN!

Truly! Truly!

Shalom! Anytime we see a Word from Scriptured doubled, YHVH is essentially saying "Listen up! This is very important - actually it is doubly important and it concerns YOU!!!"
For example, look at these quotes from the Torah and the Tanach:

Gen 22:11 And the Messenger of YAHWEH called to him from the heavens and said, Abraham! Abraham! And he said, I am here.
(Abraham was so in tune with YHVH, he probably heard his name the first time, yet YHVH felt it necessary to say his name twice for double emphasis!!! And the call came to him from the heavens!!! Is YHVH calling you from the heavens today??? Are you rooted and established in HIM to hear and listen???)

Gen 46:2 And Elohim said to Israel in visions of the night, and He spoke, Jacob! Jacob! And he answered, I am here.
(Here Elohim, the Creator of everthing in heaven, earth and under the earth, including you and me is speaking to Jacob in a night vision!!! Is HE speaking to you and I in the same way??? Can you hear HIM call your name out once, let alone twice???)

1Sa 3:10 And YAHWEH came and stood, and called as the other times, Samuel, Samuel! And Samuel said, Speak, for Your servant hears.
(Now YHVH comes near to us, stands near to us, and calls us!!! Are we listening? Are we sensing HIM? Are we prepared to hear what He has to say???)

And these from the New Covenant, the Brit Chadasha:

Mat 27:46 And about the ninth hour, Yeshua cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani; that is, My El, My El, why did You honor Me to be here?
(do you hear the cry of YHVH, letting you know in your darkest hour or trial that He has not forsaken you??? He has not forgotten you!!! He has not anandoned you!!!)

Act 9:4 And falling on the ground he heard a voice (Yeshua)saying to him, Saul, Saul! Why do you persecute Me?
(One should never hope to hear these Words from G-d Almighty!!!)

In the following quotes from the gospel of Yochanan (John) Yeshua is telling us that invariably, most assuredly, and truly, truly - these are promises with a double blessing in them!
He is saying, not just once, but twice, that these promises are OURS and we should pay attention to the fact that He isn't just saying them once...but TWICE!!!

Joh 1:51 And He says to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, From now on you will see Heaven opened, and "The cherubs of Elohim ascending and descending" on the Son of Man. (Gen. 28:12)
(how awesome is that to be promised that we can see Heaven opening up!!!)

Joh 3:3 Yeshua answered and said to him, Truly, truly I say to you, that if a man is not born again, he is not able to see the Kingdom of YAHWEH.
(we must be born again to see the kingdom of YHVH!)

Joh 3:5 Yeshua answered, Truly, truly I say to you, that if a man is not born from water and spirit, he is not able to enter into the kingdom of YAHWEH.
(we must be born of water and spirit to enter into the kingdom of YHVH!!!)

Joh 3:11 Truly, truly, I say to you, That which we know, we speak; and that which we have seen, we testify. And you do not receive our testimony.
(are we knowing then speaking??? are we seeing then testifying???)

Joh 5:19 Then Yeshua answered and said to them, Truly, truly I say to you that the Son is not able to do anything by his desire, but what he sees that the Father does. For these things that the Father does, the Son also likewise does.
(are we doing ONLY the things we see our Heavenly Father doing? or are we still demanding our own way??? Remember, Lucifer says i will, i will; Yeshua says Thy will Thy will, and YHVH says MY Will, My Will!)

Joh 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, The one who hears My Word, and believes the One who has sent Me, has everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has removed himself out of death into life.
(if we are hearing and believing, we have everlasting life AND we do not come into judgment AND we are removed from death!!! the whole of gospel in a nutshell, this verse...)

Joh 6:32 Then Yeshua said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Moses has not given you the bread out of Heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread out of Heaven.
(are we feasting on the daily manna, the TRUE Bread, Yeshua Hamashiach who comes down to us out of Heavn off the pages of HIS WORD???)

Joh 6:47 Truly, truly, I say to you, The one believing into Me has everlasting life.
(ah...the one who believes and believes and believes, not doubting, has everlasting life! can i get a witness?)

Joh 6:53 Then Yeshua said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you do not have life in yourselves.
(think on this...selah...)

Joh 8:51 Truly, truly, I say to you, If anyone watches over My Word, he will not see death forever, never!
(are we studying to show ourselves approved by G-d??? Are we daily seeking HIM??? if so, this promise says we will not see death ever, never!!!)

Joh 12:24 Truly, truly I say to you that a grain of wheat, except it should fall and die on the ground, remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit.
(how do we produce fruit? we fall to the gound and die...I am crucified with Messiah, therefore, it is no longer I who live, but Messiah Yeshua lives in me!!!)

Joh 13:20 Truly, truly, I say to you, The one who receives whomever I may send receives Me; and the one who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.
(can we receive??? are we teachable??? or de we know it all???)

Joh 16:23 And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you, Whatever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give you.
(This of course, is a favorite that everyone can quote...but Yeshua IS saying to us, truly, truly...)
amein vaya amein!
