sometimes we need to be reminded of the less pleasant things of scripture...
recently a brother called me "his favorite Torah teacher", yet if I was the kind of teacher who kept track of attendance, I would say he's absent a lot more than he's ever present, and scripture says "lying lips" are an abomination unto YHVH...
so we must keep watch, and stay on guard, and not let words of flattery disguised as abomination to take us from our gift, our calling or our post...

these scriptures are 4 of over 250 concerning LIGHT...

so has anyone wondered why we walk in "the sanctuary - the most holy place" and the shutters are drawn over the windows, or there simply are no windows...the lights are turned off or on low, the "stage" has been painted or covered in black and "the spotlight" shines on an elect?
had the epiphany last weekend, I no longer want to be part of a "bar" or a "club" or a "theater" trying to pass itself off as a church...
Yeshua is the Light and we are called to be the Light of the world, not hide it under a basket or cover it in darkness!
