the purpose of suffering

Act 9:16 For I will show him how much he must suffer for the sake of My name...
*we suffer for the sake of His Name

Rom 8:17 And if children, also heirs; truly heirs of YAHWEH, and joint heirs of Messiah, if indeed we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together...
*we suffer that we may also be glorified together

1Co 12:26 And if one member is in pain, all the members suffer with it. If one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it...
*we suffer together

2Co 1:6 But if we are troubled, it is for your comfort and salvation, being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer. If we are comforted, it is for your comfort and salvation;
2Co 1:7 and our hope for you is certain, knowing that even as you are sharers of the sufferings, so also are partakers of the comfort...
* just as we share sufferings together, we also are partakers of comfort

Php 1:27 Only behave yourself worthily of the good news of Messiah, so that whether coming and seeing you or whether I am far away, I may hear of your good conduct, that you stand fast in one spirit and one soul, triumphing together in the faith of the good news,
Php 1:28 and not being terrified in anything by our adversaries, whose conduct is the sign of their own destruction, but to your salvation, and this from YAHWEH;
Php 1:29 because it was granted to you on behalf of Messiah not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf,
Php 1:30 having the same struggle which you saw in me and now hear that I am in...
*it is granted unto us to suffer on the behalf of Messiah

1Th 3:4 For even when we were with you, we said to you before that we are about to suffer tribulations, as it also happened, even as you know...
*we know beforehand we will suffer tribulations

2Th 1:3 Brothers, we are bound to give thanks to YAHWEH always concerning you, even as it is right, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each one of you multiplies toward one another,
2Th 1:4 so as for us to boast ourselves in you in the Congregations of YAHWEH for your patience and faith in all your persecutions, and the afflictions which you endure,
2Th 1:5 a clear token of the just judgment of YAHWEH, for you to be counted worthy of the kingdom of YAHWEH, for which you indeed suffer;
2Th 1:6 since it is a just thing with YAHWEH to pay back tribulation to those oppressing you,
2Th 1:7 and to give you, those being oppressed, relief with us at the revelation of the Master Yeshua from Heaven with the host of His cherubs,
2Th 1:8 in flaming fire giving full vengeance to those not knowing YAHWEH, and to those not obeying the good news of our Master Yeshua Messiah...
*we are counted worthy to suffer for the sake of the Kingdom of YHVH

2Ti 1:7 For YAHWEH did not give a spirit of cowardice to us, but of power and of love and of good discipline.
2Ti 1:8 Then do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Master, nor of me, His prisoner. But suffer hardship with the good news, according to the power of YAHWEH,
2Ti 1:9 the One having saved us and having called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace given to us in Messiah Yeshua before the world began,
2Ti 1:10 but now revealed through the appearance of our Savior, Yeshua Messiah, indeed making death of no effect, bringing life and immortality to light through the good news,
2Ti 1:11 for which I was appointed a preacher and apostle and a teacher of nations.
2Ti 1:12 For which cause I also suffer these things. But I am not ashamed, for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that He is able to guard my deposit until that Day...
*we suffer hardship with the good news according to the power of YHVH

2Ti 2:3 Then you suffer hardship as a good soldier of Yeshua Messiah.
*we suffer hardship as good soldiers of Messiah Yeshua

2Ti 4:5 But you be clear-minded in all, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.
*we suffer hardship and do the work of an evangelist to fulfill the ministry

Heb 12:12 Because of this, "straighten the hands" hanging alongside, "and the enfeebled knees;"
Heb 12:13 "and make straight tracks for your feet," that the member which is lame may not suffer, but rather be healed...
*we may suffer to be healed

Jas 5:13 Does anyone suffer ill among you? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him praise in song...
*we suffer to be prayed for

1Pe 3:8 And, finally, let all live in harmony, that ye be sympathetic with them who suffer, and affectionate one to another, and be merciful and kind...
*we must be sympathetic, affectionate, merciful and kind with them who suffer

1Pe 3:14 But if you truly suffer because of righteousness sake, you are blessed. "and be not afraid of those who terrify you, neither be disturbed...
*when we suffer for righteousness' sake, we are blessed

1Pe 3:17 For it is better, if it is the will of YAHWEH, to suffer for doing good deeds rather than for doing evil...
*we suffer for doing good deeds when it's the will of YHVH

1Pe 4:15 For do not let any of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or as a meddler in the affairs of others...

1Pe 4:19 Wherefore, let them who suffer according to the will of YAHWEH, commit their souls to him in well doing, as to a faithful Creator...
*we suffer according to the will of YHVH and must commit ourselves to Him

Rev 2:10 Do not at all fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw you into prison, so that you may be tried; and you will have affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life...
*if we must suffer, we must not have fear - all has purpose, even suffering...

(Heb 4:12 For the Word of YAHWEH is living, and powerfully working, and sharper than every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow and bones, and able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart...)

The "O" word is NOT a spirit!!!

Mat 16:23 But turning He (Yeshua) said to Peter, Go behind Me, satan! You are an offense to Me, for you do not think of the things of YAHWEH, but the things of men...

Mat 18:7 Woe to the world from its offenses! It is a necessity for the offenses to come, yet woe to that man through whom the offense comes!

Act 24:14 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the Elohim of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
Act 24:15 And have hope toward Elohim, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
Act 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward Elohim, and toward men...

Rom 14:10 But why do you judge your brother? Or why also do you despise your brother? For all shall stand before the judgment seat of Messiah.
Rom 14:11 For it has been written, "As I live, says YAHWEH, that every knee will bow to Me, and every tongue confess to YAHWEH." (Isa. 45:23)
Rom 14:12 So then each one of us will give account concerning himself to YAHWEH.
Rom 14:13 Then let us no longer judge one another, but rather judge this, not to put a stumbling-block or an offense toward a brother...

1Co 10:31 Then whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all things to the glory of YAHWEH.
1Co 10:32 Be without offense both to Jews and Gentiles, and to the Congregation of YAHWEH.
1Co 10:33 Even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own advantage, but the good of the many, that they may be saved...

2Co 6:3 Give no occasion for offense to anyone, in anything, that the ministry may not be blamed,
2Co 6:4 but in all things let us show ourselves as servants of YAHWEH, in much patience, in afflictions, in emergencies, in difficulties,
2Co 6:5 in stripes, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in vigils, in fastings;
2Co 6:6 in pureness, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere love,
2Co 6:7 by the Word of truth, in the power of YAHWEH, through the weapons of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
2Co 6:8 through glory and dishonor, through evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;
2Co 6:9 as unknown, and yet well known, as dying, and yet, look, we live; as chastened, and yet not put to death;
2Co 6:10 as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, yet possessing all things...

Php 1:9 And this I pray for, that your love may still increase and abound, in knowledge, and in all spiritual understanding,
Php 1:10 so that you may discern the things that are better; and may be pure and without offence, in the day of the Messiah,
Php 1:11 being filled with fruits of righteousness through Yeshua Messiah, to the glory and praise of YAHWEH!!!

1Jn 2:10 The one loving his brother rests in the light, and no offense is in him.
1Jn 2:11 But the one hating his brother is in the darkness, and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness blinded his eyes...

G4625
skandalon skan'-dal-on A “scandal”; probably from a derivative of G2578; a trap stick (bent sapling), that is, snare (figuratively cause of displeasure or sin): - occasion to fall (of stumbling), offence, thing that offends, stumbling-block.

H4383
מכשׁל    מכשׁול mikshôl  mikshôl mik-shole', mik-shole' Masculine from H3782; a stumblingblock, literally or figuratively (obstacle, enticement (specifically an idol), scruple): - caused to fall, offence, X [no-] thing offered, ruin, stumbling-block.

the book end of offense/offence = begins with the adversary, stems from the world, comes at us personally then corporately, eventually brings us to MASHIACH and the LIGHT of MASHIACH, where NO OFFENSE/OFFENCE exists!

the servant of YHVH...

THE SERVANT OF YHVH:
2Ti 2:1 Then my child, you be empowered by grace in Messiah Yeshua.

2Ti 2:2 And what things you heard from me through many witnesses, commit these things to faithful men, such as will be competent also to teach others.

2Ti 2:3 Then you suffer hardship as a good soldier of Yeshua Messiah.

2Ti 2:4 No one serving as a soldier entangles himself with the affairs of this life, so that he might please the one having enlisted him.

2Ti 2:5 And also if anyone competes, he is not crowned unless he competes lawfully.

2Ti 2:6 It is right for the laboring farmer to partake first of the fruits.
2Ti 2:7 Consider what I say, for the Almighty will give you understanding in all things.

2Ti 2:8 Remember Yeshua Messiah, having been raised from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my good news,
2Ti 2:9 in which I suffer ill as an evildoer, unto bonds; but the Word of YAHWEH has not been bound.

2Ti 2:10 Because of this, I endure all things on account of the elect, that they also may obtain salvation in Messiah Yeshua, with everlasting glory.

2Ti 2:11 This is a true saying: for if we died with Him, we also shall live with Him;

2Ti 2:12 if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, that One will deny us;

2Ti 2:13 if we believe not in Him, that One remains faithful; He is not able to deny Himself.

2Ti 2:14 You should keep these things in remembrance as a testimony before our Master that the faithful should not argue over words in which there is no profit, but which are destruction to those who listen to them.

2Ti 2:15 And study to present yourself approved to YAHWEH, a workman unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

2Ti 2:16 But shun profane, empty babblings, for they will go on to more unrighteousness,
2Ti 2:17 and their word will eat like a canker, of whom are Hymenaeus and Philetus,
2Ti 2:18 who missed the mark concerning the truth, saying the resurrection already has come, and overturn the faith of some.

2Ti 2:19 However, the foundation of Elohim stands firm, having this seal, YAHWEH knew the ones being His; also, Let everyone naming the name of Messiah depart from unrighteousness. (Num. 16:5,7)

2Ti 2:20 But in a great house not only are there vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and of earth, and some to honor and some to dishonor.
2Ti 2:21 Then if anyone purifies himself from these, he will be a vessel to honor, having been sanctified and made useful to the Master, having been prepared to every good work.

2Ti 2:22 But flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace, with the ones calling on our Master out of a pure heart.

2Ti 2:23 Keep away from foolish disputes which do not educate, knowing that they generate quarrels.

2Ti 2:24 But a servant of YAHWEH ought not to quarrel, but to be gentle towards all, apt at teaching, patient,
2Ti 2:25 so that he may discipline gently those who argue against him, if perhaps YAHWEH may give them repentance for them to know the truth,
2Ti 2:26 and come to themselves and be saved from the trap of Satan by whom they have been drawn to his will...

scripture doesn't always need a preacher or a teacher to proclaim its truths...

The importance of keeping Shabbat!

Exo 16:29 Behold! Because YAHWEH has given the Sabbath to you, therefore He is giving to you two days of bread on the sixth day. Each one of you remain in his place. Do not let anyone go out from his place on the seventh day...

Num 15:30 And the soul that does anything with a high hand in defiance, whether of a native or of the alien, the same blasphemes YAHWEH. And that person shall be cut off from the midst of his people.
Num 15:31 For he has despised the Word of YAHWEH and has broken His command; that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be on him.
Num 15:32 And while the sons of Israel were in the wilderness they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day.
Num 15:33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation.
Num 15:34 And they put him under guard; for it had not been declared what should be done to him.
Num 15:35 And YAHWEH said to Moses, surely, the man shall die; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.
Num 15:36 And all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones. And he died, as YAHWEH commanded Moses..

Isa 56:3 And do not let the son of the foreigner speak, he who joins himself to YAHWEH, saying, surely, YAHWEH separates me from His people; and do not let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dried tree.
Isa 56:4 For so says YAHWEH to the eunuchs who keep (Aleph/Tav) My Sabbaths and choose things I am pleased with, and take hold of My covenant:
Isa 56:5 I, even I will #1 give to them in My house and in My walls a hand and a name better than sons and daughters; I will #2 give them an everlasting name which shall not be cut off.

Isa 58:14 then you shall delight yourself in YAHWEH. And I will cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and make you eat with the inheritance of your father Jacob. For the mouth of YAHWEH has spoken...

and when YHVH speaks, it is always as the sounding of the shofar!!!

(In no way will this generation pass away until all these things have occurred)

(So also will be the coming of the Son of Man)

#9 be alert, then, for you do not know in what hour your Master comes...

(if the house Master had known in what watch the thief comes, he would have watched and not have allowed his house to be dug through)

#10 because of this, you also be ready, for in that hour you think not, the Son of Man comes...

Who then is the faithful and wise servant?

Blessed is that servant whom his Master shall find so doing when He comes...

Exo 9:14 For at this time I am going to send all My PLAGUES to your heart, and on your servants, and on your people, so that you may know that none is like Me in all the land...

Exo 10:1 And YAHWEH said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, for I have made his heart heavy and the heart of his servants, so that I may set these SIGNS of Mine in their midst;
