"Qodesh Miqra" = (Sacred Rehearsals) - things we are to rehearse

Holy Gathering(s), Holy Assembly(ies) and Holy Convocation(s) in Hebrew are called "Qodesh Miqra" - which in its simplest, yet deepest, form means "sacred rehearsal."

The following scriptures tell us the Sabbath, the 7 feasts of YHVH, the sounding of the shofar, the reading of the Torah and the gathering of the body in the synagogue are things that we are to be rehearsing here on earth as statutes forever - la' olam vayed...

The fulfillment of them, of course, will be in glory when we will love, serve and worship Yhvh face to face, but for now, they are "Qodesh Miqra" - sacred rehearsals to be practicing day by day and week by week until Messiah's imminent return!

The spring feasts, or set times of Yhvh = "moadim" are:

Passover/Pesach is the picture of Messiah as the Lamb of Yhvh who was slain/crucified for the sins of the world...
Unleavened Bread/Chag HaMotzi is the picture of Messiah as He was buried in the tomb for 3 days...
Firstfruits/Yom Habikkurim is the picture of Messiah as the resurrected first born of YHVH...
Pentecost/Shavu'ot is the picure of Messiah sending us the Holy Spirit - the Ruach Hakodesh!

The fall feasts of Yhvh are: Trumpets/Rosh Hashana/Yom Teru'ah; Day of Atonement/Yom Kippur; and Tabernacles/Sukkot.

Exo 12:16 And on the first day shall be a holy assembly QODESH MIQRA (rehearsal) and in the seventh day a holy assembly QODESH MIQRA (rehearsal), shall be to you. Not any work may be done on them. Only what must be eaten by each soul that alone may be done by you.

Lev 23:2 Speak to the children of Israel, and you shall say to them, The set feasts of YAHWEH which you shall proclaim as holy gatherings QODESH MIQRA, shall be these: These are My appointed feasts:

Lev 23:3 Work is to be done six days, and on the seventh day shall be a Sabbath of rest, a holy gathering; QODESH MIQRA you shall do no work; it is a Sabbath to YAHWEH in all your dwellings.
Lev 23:4 These are appointed times of YAHWEH, holy gatherings QODESH MIQRA which you shall proclaim in their appointed seasons:

Lev 23:7 On the first day you shall have a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no laborious work;

Lev 23:8 and you shall bring near a fire offering to YAHWEH seven days; and the seventh day shall be a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no laborious work.

 Lev 23:21 And you shall make a proclamation on this same day; it is a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA to you. You shall do no laborious work of service. It is a never ending statute in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

 Lev 23:24 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, a Holy Day Sabbath shall be to you, a memorial acclamation of the resounding of trumpets, a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA.

 Lev 23:27 Also, on the tenth of this seventh month shall be a day of atonement; there shall be a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA, and you shall humble and weaken your bodies and shall bring a fire offering to YAHWEH.

Lev 23:35 On the first day shall be a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no laborious work.

Lev 23:36 Seven days you shall bring a fire offering to YAHWEH; on the eighth day you shall have a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; and you shall bring the fire offering to YAHWEH; it is a solemn assembly; you shall do no laborious work of service.
Lev 23:37 These are the set feasts of YAHWEH which you shall proclaim, holy gatherings QODESH MIQRA, to bring a fire offering to YAHWEH, a burnt offering, and a food offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, the thing of a day on its own day;

 Num 10:2 Make two trumpets of silver for yourself. You shall make them of hammered work, and they shall be to you for the calling of the congregation QODESH MIQRA, and for causing the camps to pull up stakes.

Num 28:18 In the first day shall be a holy convocation QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no work of service.

Num 28:25 And on the seventh day you shall have a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no work of service.

Num 28:26 And in the day of the first-fruits, as you offer a new food offering to YAHWEH in your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no work of service;

Num 29:1 And in the seventh month, on the first of the month you shall have a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no work of service. It shall be a day of blowing the trumpets to you.

 
Num 29:7 And on the tenth of this seventh month you shall have a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no work of service, you shall humble your souls.

 Num 29:12 And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, you shall have a holy gathering QODESH MIQRA; you shall do no work of service; and you shall celebrate a feast to YAHWEH seven days.

 Neh 8:8 And they read aloud clearly in the Book, in the Torah of The Elohim, and they gave the sense, and caused them to discern the reading MIQRA.

Isa 4:5 Then YAHWEH will create a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night, over all the site of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies MIQRA; for over all the glory will be a canopy.
