THE FIRST STORY OF A MAN IN A BOAT SLEEPING AS HE WAS RUNNING AWAY FROM THE CALL OF G-D ON HIS LIFE WITH THE STORM RAGING ALL AROUND THEM...WHO PERPETUATED THE STORM? YHVH HIMSELF...WHAT WAS THE INITIAL REACTION TO THE STORM? FEAR!!!
Jon 1:1 And the word of יהוה came to Yonah son of Amittai, saying, WHEN YHVH'S WORD COMES...
Jon 1:2 “Arise, go to Ninewĕh, the great city, and cry out against it, for their evils have come up before Me.”
Jon 1:3 But Yonah rose up to flee to Tarshish from the presence of יהוה, and went down to Yapho, and found a ship going to Tarshish. And he paid the fare, and went down into it, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of יהוה. DON'T EVER RUN FROM IT!
Jon 1:4 And יהוה sent out a great wind on the sea, and there was a great storm on the sea, so that the ship was thought to be broken up. THIS STORM WAS SENT BY YHVH BECAUSE JONAH FLED...
Jon 1:5 And the seamen were afraid, and each one cried out to his mighty one, and threw the cargo which was in the ship into the sea, to lighten the load. But Yonah had gone down into the lowest parts of the ship, and he lay down, and was fast asleep. JONAH ENDANGERED THE SHIP, EVERYONE ON IT AND EVERYTHING IN IT...
Jon 1:6 And the captain came to him, and said to him, “What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, cry out to your Elohim, if so be that Elohim shall think about us, so that we do not perish.” WHERE WAS JONAH? HIDING IN FEAR YET SLEEPING...
Jon 1:7 And they said to each other, “Come, and let us cast lots, so that we know for whose sake this evil has come upon us.” So they cast lots, and the lot fell on Yonah. IF YOU DON'T OWN UP, FOLKS AROUND YOU WILL CHECK WITH G-D!
Jon 1:8 So they said to him, “Please explain to us! For whose sake is this evil upon us? What is your occupation? And where do you come from? What is your country? And from what people are you?” WHEN YOU DON'T FULFILL YOUR MISSIONS FROM G-D THERE ARE DIRE CONSEQUENCES FOR THOSE YOUR LIFE IS INFLUENCING!
Jon 1:9 And he said to them, “I am a Heḇrew. And I am fearing יהוה, the Elohim of the heavens, who made the sea and the dry land.” SURE GLAD HE DIDN'T TELL A LIE HERE, AREN'T YOU?
Jon 1:10 And the men were exceedingly afraid, and said to him, “Why have you done this?” For the men knew that he fled from the presence of יהוה, for he had informed them. FEAR...
Jon 1:11 And they said to him, “What are we to do to you to make the sea calm for us?” For the sea was growing more stormy.
Jon 1:12 And he said to them, “Take me and throw me into the sea, so that the sea becomes calm for you. For I know that this great storm is because of me.”
Jon 1:13 However, the men rowed hard to bring the ship to land, but were unable, for the sea continued to grow more stormy against them. THIS IS ALL PART OF YHVH'S PLAN - NOT ONLY IS HE GOING TO SAVE JONAH AND TEACH HIM A LESSON - HE'S GOING TO SAVE THE MEN IN THE SHIP AS WELL! DON'T YOU LOVE THAT ABOUT HIM?
Jon 1:14 And they cried out to יהוה and said, “We pray, O יהוה, please, let us not perish for this man’s life, and do not lay on us innocent blood. For You, O יהוה, have done as it pleased You.”
Jon 1:15 Then they took Yonah and threw him into the sea, and the sea stopped raging.
Jon 1:16 And the men feared יהוה exceedingly, and brought an offering to יהוה and made vows. ISN'T IT INTERESTING THAT THEY KNEW TO FEAR YHVH AND BRING HIM AN OFFERING RIGHT AWAY WITHOUT WEEKS OF CLASSES, SERMONS, PROGRAMS AND CHURCH MEMBERSHIP!
Jon 1:17 But יהוה appointed a great fish to swallow Yonah. And Yonah was in the stomach of the fish three days and three nights. CONSEQUENCES...
THIS IS THE STORY OF ANOTHER MAN IN A BOAT WITH A STORM RAGING ALL AROUND IT...
Mar 4:33 And with many such parables He (YESHUA) was speaking to them the word as they were able to hear,
Mar 4:34 and He was not speaking to them without parables. And when they were alone, He explained all to His taught ones. (HIS TALMUDIM - HIS DISCIPLES)
Mar 4:35 And on the same day, when evening had come, He said to them, “Let us pass over to the other side.” YES...HE DID SAY "LET"...SAME AS "LET"THERE BE LIGHT AND THERE WAS LIGHT...LET US PASS OVER TO THE OTHER SIDE AND THAT MEANT NOTHING MORE THAN THEY WOULD INDEED PASS OVER...
Mar 4:36 And having left the crowd, they took Him along in the boat, as He was. And other little boats were also with Him.
Mar 4:37 And there came a great windstorm, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already being filled. THIS VERSE IS CONTRARY TO JONAH 1:4 - THIS STORM WAS SENT BY NO ONE OTHER THAN hasatan...the prince and power of the air...
Mar 4:38 And He was in the stern, asleep on a cushion. And they woke Him up and said to Him, “Rabbi, is it no concern to You that we perish?” YESHUA IS SLEEPING, LIVING IN THE KINGDOM REALITY HE ALWAYS LIVED IN - THERE'S NO STORM GOING ON IN HEAVEN, SO THERE IS NO STORM ON EARTH GOING ON EITHER...
Mar 4:39 And having been awakened He rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. YHVH NEVER SLEEPS OR SLUMBERS BUT HE WAS ALLOWING HIS SON TO REST FOR A GREATER PURPOSE HERE...
Mar 4:40 And He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you not yet belief?” THERE IT IS AGAIN...FEAR...AND NOT THE FAITH OF THE KINGDOM AND THE AUTHORITY THEY HAVE OVER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE OR SITUATION THROWN TO THEM BY THE ENEMY...
Mar 4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and asked each other, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!” ISN'T THIS SCRIPTURE A CONTRARY ONE, TOO, TO JONAH 1:16...WHEN THE MEN IN JONAH'S BOAT FEARED EXCEEDINGLY AND SAW THE MIRACLE OF YHVH, THEY PRAYED AND GAVE AN OFFERING! WHEN THESE MEN OF FAITH CALLED TALMUDIM SAW THE MIRACLE OF YHVH, THEY BASICALLY SCRATCHED THEIR HEADS AND SAID WHO?WHAT? HOW?
Mar 5:1 And they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gaḏarenes.
Mar 5:2 And when He came out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, WOW...YESHUA IS BARELY OUT OF THE BOAT AND HERE COMES A MAN POSSESSED BY A LEGION OF DEMONS - LITERALLY THOUSANDS OF THEM AND WHAT DO THEY DO???
Mar 5:3 who had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one was able to bind him, not even with chains,
Mar 5:4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains but the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was able to tame him.
Mar 5:5 And continually, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
Mar 5:6 And seeing יהושע from a distance, he ran and bowed down to Him, MUCH LIKE THE WIND AND THE SEA IN JONAH 1 CALMED AND STOPPED RAGING, AND MUCH LIKE THE WIND AND SEA CALMED AT YESHUA'S COMMAND...SO DO THE DEMONS BOW TO YESHUA HAMASHIACH...
Mar 5:7 and having called out with a loud voice, said, “What have I to do with You, יהושע, Son of the Most High Ěl? Swear to Elohim not to torture me.” THEY KNOW WHO HE IS, THEY KNOW HIS POWER AND AUTHORITY AND THEY BOW TO HIM...JUST LIKE THE WIND AND SEA...
Mar 5:8 For He had said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!”
2 MEN IN DIFFERENT BOATS - DIFFERENT TIMES - DIFFERENT TESTAMENTS...BUT THE SAME STORM. ONE SENT BY YHVH, ONE SENT BY hasatan. 2 LESSONS WHEN THE STORMS OF LIFE ARE RAGING ALL AROUND US...DO WE REACT IN FEAR AND IN OUR NATURAL THINKING OR DO WE REACT IN FAITH AND IN OUR SUPERNATURAL LIVING WHERE WE ARE CALLED TO LIVE ABOVE; WHERE WE ARE SEATED IN HEAVENLY PLACES RIGHT NOW...ACCORDING TO CIRCUMSTANCE? OR ACCORDING TO US BEING HEIRS TO ALL THINGS FROM YHVH THROUGH MESSIAH YESHUA???
