For Your Name's Sake...

1Ki 8:41 And also, to the stranger who is not of Your people Israel, and has come from a land afar off for Your name's sake,
1Ki 8:42 (for they shall hear of Your great name, and of Your strong hand, and of Your stretched out arm, and he shall have come in and prayed toward this house,)
1Ki 8:43 You shall hear in Heaven, Your dwelling place, and shall do according to all that the stranger calls to You for, so that all the peoples of the earth may know Your name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your name has been called on this house which I have built...

Psa 25:10 All the paths of YAHWEH are mercy and truth to those keeping His covenant and His testimonies.
Psa 25:11 For Your name's sake, O YAHWEH, even pardon my iniquity for it is great.
Psa 25:12 What man is he who fears YAHWEH? He teaches him the way he should choose.
Psa 25:13 His soul shall abide in good, and his seed shall inherit the earth.
Psa 25:14 The secret of YAHWEH is with those who fear Him; and He will make them know His covenant...

Psa 31:1 [To the chief musician. A Psalm of David.]
In You, O YAHWEH, I sought refuge; let me never be ashamed; deliver me in Your righteousness.
Psa 31:2 Bow down Your ear to me; deliver me quickly, be a strong rock to me, for a house of fortresses to save me.
Psa 31:3 For You are my Rock and my Fortress; and for Your name's sake lead me and guide me...

Psa 79:8 Do not remember for us the former sins of our fathers; let Your tender mercies meet us speedily, for we have been brought very low.
Psa 79:9 Help us, O Elohim of our salvation (Y'shua*), for the matter of the glory of Your name; and deliver us and atone for our sins, for Your name's sake.

Psa 109:21 But You, O YAHWEH Adonai, work with me for Your name's sake; deliver me because Your mercy is good.
Psa 109:22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is pierced within me...

Jer 14:7 O YAHWEH, though our iniquities testify against us, act for Your name's sake; for our apostasies are many; we have sinned against You.
Jer 14:8 O Hope of Israel, its Savior in time of trouble, why should You be as a stranger in the land, and as a traveler who turns aside to lodge?
Jer 14:9 Why should You be as one who is stunned, as a mighty warrior who cannot save? Yet You, O YAHWEH, are in our midst, and Your name is called on us. Do not leave us...

Jer 14:21 For Your name's sake, do not spurn us; do not dishonor the throne of Your glory. Remember, and do not break Your covenant with us.
Jer 14:22 Are there any among the vanities of the nations, who make rain fall? Or can the heavens give showers? Is it not You, O YAHWEH our Elohim? Then we will wait for You; for You do all these things...
