to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

10:7 Neither be ye idolaters, as
were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and
rose up to play.

10:8 Neither let us commit fornication,
as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

10:9 Neither let us tempt the Messiah,
as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

10:10 Neither murmur ye, as some of
them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

10:11 Now all these things happened unto
them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends
of the world are come.

10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he
standeth take heed lest he fall.

10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but YHVH is faithful, who will not suffer you to
be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way
to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

10:14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry...

6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together
with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with
unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

6:16 And what agreement hath the temple
of YHVH with idols? for ye are the
temple of the living Elohim; as YHVH hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their Elohim, and
they shall be my people.

6:17 Wherefore come out from among them,
and be ye separate, saith YHVH, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will
receive you,

6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and
ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith YHVH the Almighty.

promises, dearly beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of YHVH...

edifying.

12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and
that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings,
whisperings, swellings, tumults:

12:21 And lest, when I come again, my
Elohim will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned
already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and
lasciviousness which they have committed...

3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend
that for which also I am apprehended of the Messiah Yeshua.

3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose elohim is their belly, and whose glory is
in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Master Yeshua the Messiah:

3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his
glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all
things unto himself.

2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a
chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be
confounded.

2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be
disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head
of the corner,

2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble
at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a
royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth
the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous
light:

2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but
are now the people of YHVH: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained
mercy.

2:11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts,
which war against the soul;

2:12 Having your conversation honest
among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may
by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify YHVH in the day of
visitation...
