the journey

Pro 2:1 My son, (ben=son,daughter) if you will receive my words (My Torah), and shall protect my commandments (mitzvot) with you,
Pro 2:2 so that you attend to wisdom (chochmah), you shall extend your heart (lev) to understanding (binah).
Pro 2:3 For if you cry for discernment (ya'da), lifting up your voice for understanding;
Pro 2:4 if you seek her as silver (keseph), and search for her as hidden treasures (matmone),
Pro 2:5 then you shall understand the fear (yir'ah) of YAHWEH and find knowledge (da'at) of Elohim.
Pro 2:6 For YAHWEH gives (nathan) wisdom; out of His mouth are knowledge and understanding.
Pro 2:7 He lays up sound wisdom (tushiyah) for the upright (tzaddik); He is a shield (megan) to the ones who walk in integrity, (tom)
Pro 2:8 to guard (natsar) the paths (orach) of judgment (mishpat), and He protects (shomer) the way (derech) of His saints (Chassid).
Pro 2:9 Then you shall understand (biyn) righteousness (tzedek) and judgment (mishpat) and honesty, (meyshar) and every good (tov) path...(magal)

The call to teach His Word has not been one without cost...

(Jas 3:1 My brothers (ach and achi = brothers and sisters) do not be many teachers, but know that we will receive a greater judgment.
Jas 3:2 For we all stumble in many ways. If any one does not stumble in word, this one is a mature man (am = people), also able to subdue the whole body...)

Considering most every author Y'Hovah chose to speak through in writing Scripture, is Jewish, it always seemed appropriate to study the Word of Y'Hovah in His language...
(remember - Scripture was written in Hebrew and Aramaic, then translated into Greek, Latin, German and finally, English...)

Not to mention -

Zep 3:9 For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of YHVH, to serve him with one consent...

We will all call on Y'Hovah One day, in One consent, in His pure language - Hebrew...

So, I did some research on a portion of Scripture that seems to divide the Body of Messiah more than it should...

Here you go - reader decide...

from a Hebraic viewpoint:

1Co 11:1 Be imitators of me, as I am also of Messiah.
1Co 11:2 But I praise you, brothers, that in all things you have remembered me, and even as I delivered them to you, you hold fast the doctrines (Jewish Torah).
1Co 11:3 But I want you to know that Messiah is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and YAHWEH is the head of Messiah...

Rav Sha'ul starts this verse out as an imitator of Messiah and tells his audience to "BE IMITATORS OF him as He is of MESSIAH" and the audience is men and women of Corinth...(Historically, Corinth was a city of gods and trade in Greece...)

He goes on to describe relationship - Yeshua to man, man to woman, and Y'Hovah to Yeshua...
So as you can see, Y'Hovah covers Yeshua, covers man, covers woman, a picture of like being all snuggled up in a blanket...
or Y'Hovah is around Yeshua, Yeshua is around man and man is around woman...
Then when you study the Hebraic definitions of "head" cited as references to "head" in Greek, you see fascinating revelation!

H4763 head...
מראשׁה mera'ăshâh mer-ah-ash-aw' Formed like H4761; properly a headpiece, that is, (plural for adverb) at (or as) the head rest (or pillow): - bolster, head, pillow. Compare H4772...
H6936 head...
קדקד qodqôd kod-kode' From H6915; the crown of the head (as the part most bowed): - crown (of the head), pate, scalp, top of the head...
H7161 head...
קרן qeren keh'-ren From H7160; a horn (like a shofar) (as projecting); by implication a flask, cornet; by resemblance an elephant’s tooth (that is, ivory), a corner (of the altar), a peak (of a mountain), a ray (of light); figuratively power: -  X hill, horn...
H7218 head...
ראשׁ rô'sh roshe From an unused root apparently meaning to shake; the head (as most easily shaken), whether literally or figuratively (in many applications, of place, time, rank, etc.): - band, beginning, captain, chapiter, chief (-est place, man, things), company, end, X every [man], excellent, first, forefront, ([be-]) head, height, (on) high (-est part, [priest]), X lead, X poor, principal, ruler, sum, top...

So...Accordingly...and Hebraically...
Yeshua is the headpiece, the head rest and pillow; the crown as the most bowed part; the horn like a shofar and a ray of light; and the beginning and at the forefront of man...
while man is the headpiece, the head rest and pillow; the crown as the most bowed part; the horn like a shofar and a ray of light; and the beginning and at the forefront of woman...
while Y'Hovah is the Headpiece, the Head Rest and the Pillow; The Crown as the most bowed part; the Horn like a Shofar and Ray of Light; and the Beginning and at the Forefront of Yeshua...
(isn't it interesting that man and woman are sandwiched between Y'hovah and Yeshua...)

Which takes us to:
Gen 1:26 And Elohim said, let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creepers creeping on the earth.
Gen 1:27 And Elohim created the man in His own image; in the image of Elohim He created him. He created them male and female.
Gen 1:28 And Elohim blessed them; and Elohim said to them, Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over the fish of the seas, and over birds of the heavens, and over all beasts creeping on the earth...(all requirements of both male/female)

So...I am a firm believer that man is made in the "image" of Elohim while woman is made in the "likeness" of Elohim, and if we want to be holy "as He is holy" and pure "as He is pure", then we need to study and apply the following Scriptures a little bit better...

Eph 4:11 And indeed He has assigned some to be apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some shepherds and teachers;
Eph 4:12 for #1 the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry, #2 for the building up of the body of Messiah,
Eph 4:13 until we all may come to the unity of the faith and of the full knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a full-grown man (am=people), to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah,
Eph 4:14 so that we may no longer be children, being blown and carried about by every wind of false doctrine of men, who through their craftiness are very skillful in deceiving the people;
Eph 4:15 but speaking the truth in love, we may grow up into Him in all things, who is the Head, the Messiah,
Eph 4:16 it is through Him that the whole body is closely framed together and united at all joints, according to the gift that is imparted by measure to each member, for the #3 guidance and #4 control of the body; in order to #5 complete the edifying of the body in love...

bottom line? we ALL need each other to fulfill the mission and mandate of His Word!

amein vaya omein...
