feeling like flowing free style...
when Y'Hovah created creation, He started with animals, Adam, Chava, and a garden (actually a paradise) in complete and equal partnership...
He walked with them and talked with them, and gave them every tree in the garden for food, except one...
when He made 7 days in the week, He gave them all, yet asked for one to be honored above all else, in return...
after He fashioned the sun and the moon for times and seasons, He gave them all, yet asked for one time a month at the new moon, and then 7 other seasons, to be set apart and revered, throughout the year, in LIGHT of HIM, and the foreshadowing of HIM becoming flesh and dwelling among men one day...
when He gave 12 hours in the Day and 12 hours in the night, He gave them all, yet asked for a tithe of our time each day...
and when He gave us silver and gold, He gave us all, yet again, asked for a tithe of our treasure...
He also gives us gifts - all of them, yet only asks that we honor HIM in return, by allowing Him access to them for His will and purpose...
He gave us 613 commandments in the first covenant and close to 1400 in the second covenant, but only asked that we keep and honor 10 of them...then when He came as Yeshua, He broke it down even farther, and asked that we only keep two...
and back to the animals - He created every land and sea creature, and every insect, bird and reptile imaginable, and gave them all to us, yet only asks us to partake of certain ones...and avoid others at all costs...
He also inspired and authored 66 books of the Holy Bible, and only asks us to study to show ourselves approved, servants and workers rightly dividing His Word of Truth through the power of His Ruach Hakodesh (His Spirit)...
then He goes on to say, many are called but few are chosen...He uses flesh and spirit, sheep and goats, 10 virgins, and two thieves on a cross (among many, many others) to shine His Light on what category we fit into...
mathematically - our Father in Heaven gives us all things, yet asks very little of us in return...
i happen to believe we are in the end of days, and time is running out...not only should we be doing a daily, monthly and yearly inventory, but we should also be growing wiser, stronger and deeper in HIM!
